Order of the Night

Isaiah 6:3-7 (NASB): “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of armies.
The whole earth is full of His glory.”
And the foundations of the thresholds trembled at the voice of him who called out, while the temple was filling with smoke. Then I said,
“Woe to me, for I am ruined!
Because I am a man of unclean lips,
And I live among a people of unclean lips;
For my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of armies.”
Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with tongs. He touched my mouth with it and said, “Behold, this has touched your lips; and your guilt is taken away and atonement is made for your sin.”

2 Chronicles 5:13-14 (NASB): “…in unison when the trumpeters and the singers were to make themselves heard with one voice to praise and to glorify the Lord, and when they raised their voices, accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other musical instruments, and when they praised the Lord, saying, ‘He indeed is good for His faithfulness is everlasting,’ then the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not rise to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.”

Welcome to Throne Room Night! This is a sacred time set apart to glorify God, celebrate His goodness, and seek His presence. Tonight, we lay aside titles, ministries, and roles to focus solely on ministering to the Lord. Below is the Order of the Night—a guide to help us worship with freedom, reverence, and unity, ensuring that all we do brings glory to Him.

1. Lay It All at the Door

“Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they exist and were created and brought into being.” – Revelation 4:11 (AMP)

Tonight is not about our positions, callings, or the fivefold ministry (Ephesians 4:11). Whether you are an apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher, or lay leader, we ask that you leave those titles at the door. This night is solely about ministering to the Lord. Your roles will still be there when you leave. For now, we come simply as worshipers, pouring out our hearts before Him.

2. Worship with Freedom and Humility

“Let everything that has breath and every breath of life praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)” – Psalm 150:6 (AMP)

Express your joy and love for the Lord in whatever way feels authentic to you—through dancing, singing, waving flags, or even blowing the shofar. Like David, who danced before the Ark of the Covenant with all his might (2 Samuel 6:14), let your worship be wholehearted and uninhibited.

However, freedom in worship is accompanied by a spirit of humility. Be mindful of those worshiping around you, creating an atmosphere where everyone can encounter God in their own way. Whether bold or quiet, let your expressions be focused on glorifying Him, not drawing attention to ourselves.

3. Sing with Abandon

“Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully [on the strings] with a loud and joyful sound.” – Psalm 33:3 (AMP)

Lift your voice in psalms, hymns, spiritual songs, or singing in tongues. Let the Spirit lead your song as you glorify God in unity and power. Our songs are offerings to the Lord, and every note and word is for His glory.

4. Be Led by the Spirit

“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.” – Romans 8:14 (AMP)

This night is about creating space for the Holy Spirit to move. Let Him guide your worship, whether through spontaneous acts of praise, prophetic declarations, or quiet moments of surrender. Be sensitive to His leading, trusting that the Spirit will direct us to glorify God while uplifting the body of Christ.

5. Honor the Spirit and One Another

“Be devoted to one another with [authentic] brotherly affection [as members of one family], give preference to one another in honor.” – Romans 12:10 (AMP)

As we worship, we seek to honor the movement of the Holy Spirit and respect the unique ways He is leading each person to connect with God. Bold expressions of worship, such as dancing, singing loudly, or using a shofar, are welcome and biblical, but they should always point to God’s glory.

At the same time, we honor others by being aware of how our expressions impact the atmosphere. If the Spirit is prompting you to worship boldly, obey Him with a heart of humility and love. Remember, freedom in worship and sensitivity to others go hand in hand.

6. Pray as the Lord Leads

“If My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek [crave, require as a necessity] My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.” – 2 Chronicles 7:14 (AMP)

Music will be playing throughout most of the night to create an atmosphere of worship. If the Lord calls you to pray, do not hesitate—pray it out over the music. If someone else is praying, feel free to pray at the same time. Follow the leading of the Spirit and let your prayers rise to heaven as incense before the Lord.

Let this be a night of intercession as we humble ourselves before God, seeking His face and asking Him to heal our land. Your prayers, joined with others, can bring powerful breakthroughs in His presence.

7. Come and Go as the Lord Leads

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [emancipation from bondage, true freedom].” – 2 Corinthians 3:17 (AMP)

We recognize that Worship Night may run long, and life’s demands may cause you to arrive late or leave early. We encourage you to come and go as the Lord leads, but please do so quietly and respectfully to honor what God is doing in the lives of others.

8. Seek God’s Presence Above All Else

“As the deer pants [longingly] for the water brooks, so my soul pants [longingly] for You, O God.” – Psalm 42:1 (AMP)

Our primary focus tonight is ministering to the Lord and encountering His presence. Set aside distractions, personal agendas, and busyness. Press into Him with a heart of surrender, trusting Him to meet you when you seek Him with all your heart. Every act of worship tonight is for His glory and His glory alone.

Encouragement

This night is for God’s glory and His people’s joy. Whether you stay for the entire evening or just a moment, your worship is a precious offering to the King. Let us embrace the freedom to worship with all our hearts while honoring the work God is doing in the lives of others. Let everything we do tonight point to His glory and exalt His name.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father, tonight we come simply as worshipers, laying everything at Your feet. May our praise rise to You as a sweet aroma, and may Your glory fill this place. Let every word, every song, every prayer, and every act of worship honor You. Draw us closer to You, and let this night be all about You. Be exalted in our midst. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Let us worship with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strength! To God be the glory!
